1. Reserve your delivery block
Delivery blocks define when, where, and how you deliver, including start time, delivery type, and estimated earnings. In the Amazon Flex app, offers show which blocks you can accept.
2. Pick up packages
Use the app to find your assigned pickup location, get your packages, and begin your route.
3. Deliver within the timeframe
Blocks range from 1 to 5 hours for standard, 1.5 to 2 hours for grocery, and up to 4 hours for Amazon Now, depending on delivery type.
4. See your estimated earnings upfront
Each delivery block shows estimated earnings, time, and location.
5. Collect your payment
Payments are deposited every Wednesday via direct deposit for the previous week's completed deliveries.
Delivery types that work for you
Amazon Flex offers a variety of delivery options to match your preferences. Here is a snapshot of what you can choose to deliver.
Amazon standard delivery
Amazon standard blocks last between up to 5 hours and require you to pick up packages from an Amazon delivery station at the start of your block.
Amazon grocery delivery
Amazon grocery blocks last between up to 2 hours and require you to pick up groceries or household items from an Amazon Fresh delivery station.
Amazon Now delivery
Amazon Now delivery blocks are typically up to 4 hours with local deliveries directly to customers via e-bike.
Schedule-ahead vs reserved offers
An offer for a delivery block in the Amazon Flex app shows available blocks you can accept and specifies the start time, delivery type, and estimated earnings associated with that block.
Reserved offer
A scheduled delivery block available only to you for a limited time. After that, it is open to other delivery partners.
Schedule-ahead offers
Ideal when you want to plan ahead and build your schedule around your available time and priorities. These delivery blocks typically last between one and five hours and become available up to 7 days before they begin.

Bring a mobile phone with the app installed
Prepare your vehicle with a full tank or a fully charged battery, and clear items from your trunk and backseat
Pick up a reflective safety vest at the station
Wear slip-resistant, closed-heel-and-toe shoes
Pack water, snacks, and a phone charger
