Here's what you need to start delivering with your e-bike
Driver Eligibility
Be 18 or older
Right to work in the UK
No driver's licence required
Vehicle Requirements
Battery-operated e-bike meeting all EAPC standards
No unlawful modifications
Max 3.7 mph without pedalling

Insulated/isothermal bag or cargo box (min 53cm × 26cm × 56cm, holds 11–15 kg)
Helmet with chinstrap and face shield (required)

Insurance for e-bike deliveries
To deliver with Amazon Flex by e-bike, you'll need two types of insurance:
✓ Public liability insurance ✓ Personal accident insurance
You're free to choose your own insurance provider. We've partnered with Superscript, a recommended provider for Amazon Flex e-bike delivery partners, to make it easy to find cover that meets these requirements.
Important: We recommend that you only purchase insurance when we ask you to do so as part of the onboarding process.

To review the specific requirements for each vehicle type, please visit the vehicle types page. If you would like to update your vehicle type, please edit your vehicle information in the app by going to the hamburger icon > settings > personal information > vehicle information.
Safe deliveries on e-bikes
Your safety is our top priority when delivering by e-bike.
• Wear a helmet at all times
• Ride in the direction of traffic
• Use bike lanes where available
• Keep both hands on handlebars (except when signalling)
• Obey all traffic laws, signals, and signs
• Ensure delivery bag is properly secured and balanced
NOTE: Safety checks may be conducted at pickup locations to ensure your e-bike meets legal requirements. You will not be able to deliver if your vehicle does not pass the check.
