Deliver by e-bike and earn on your schedule with Amazon Now

Amazon Flex allows you to use your own vehicle to deliver Amazon packages as a flexible way of earning extra money at a time that suits you. We're excited to offer you even more flexible ways to earn on your schedule.

Amazon Now is a new delivery type available in select cities in the UK. With Amazon Now, delivery partners use battery-operated e-bikes to deliver daily essentials locally to Amazon customers. Amazon Now blocks are typically 1 to 4 hours long and include multiple deliveries to customers located up to 10 km from the pickup location. You will return to the Amazon Now pickup location after each delivery to pick up your next order.

With Amazon Now, you can earn £13-£15* per hour. Your total earnings will vary depending on how many deliveries you complete. Since we know your time is valuable, you also earn for the time spent waiting for your next delivery within the scheduled block time as part of the block minimum payment.

Choose e-bike for Amazon Now

When onboarding, you can choose to sign up with one vehicle type: car or e-bike. To be eligible to deliver with Amazon Now, choose e-bike. Once you complete onboarding, you will not be able to switch vehicle types, and you will only see offers for Amazon Now deliveries. To deliver with Amazon Now, you will need public liability and personal accident insurance. To view available Amazon Now offers, open the Amazon Flex app and visit the Offers page in the Main Menu. Amazon Now offers show the block pickup location, duration, area covered, and an earnings range.

Picking up and delivering Amazon Now packages

Before your block begins, the app will provide you with directions to the Amazon Now pickup location. We recommend arriving for your block up to 15 minutes early. If you arrive more than 5 minutes late, you will not be able to check-in. If your plans change, you can cancel a scheduled block up to 45 minutes before it starts. If you scheduled a block that starts within 45 minutes, you can cancel it within 5 minutes of scheduling it.

When you arrive, bring a bike lock to secure your e-bike in the designated parking area. If you need help locating the parking area, ask a station associate. Open the app and tap 'I've Parked.' Complete your identity verification selfie with a clear, well-lit photo. Then, scan the provided QR code at the Amazon Now pickup location entrance to check-in for your block.

Once checked in, follow the in-app guidance for specific delivery information. As soon as your order is available, you’ll receive a push notification with the delivery details. Tap ‘Acknowledge’ within 30 seconds to provide acknowledgement that you have seen the order. Once your route is ready, you’ll have 1 minute to pick up the order. If you have an undeliverable package, please return it to the Amazon Now pickup location before picking up your next order. If the undelivered package is your last order, please return it at the end of your block.

Staying safe while delivering

Your safety is our top priority. Everyone must wear closed-heel-and-toe shoes and a high-visibility safety vest at Amazon Now pickup locations. We may conduct e-bike safety checks at the pickup location to help ensure that your vehicle is ready to deliver packages safely and meets legal requirements. You are required to wear a helmet while delivering on an e-bike with Amazon Flex. We recommend a helmet with a chinstrap and face shield. Always follow traffic laws and please stay alert while delivering. Ride in the direction of traffic and use bike lanes whenever available. Deliveries are scheduled so that they can be safely completed within the allocated block time, taking into account factors such as weather and road conditions.
